The spring breeze promotes new green, and it is the right time to plant trees. On the occasion of the 46th Arbor Day, in order to further guide teachers and students in enhancing the awareness of environmental protection and promoting the concept of ecological civilization, teachers and students of Jingjiang College carried out thematic activities for Arbor Day on March 12th at Jingjiang Forest. Cui Jingui, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jingjiang College , Du Daolin, President of the College, Fan Yanhua, Vice President of the College, Chen Mingjun, Vice President of the College, Li Wenxin, Vice President of the College, Jiang Hao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission, as well as heads of relevant functional departments and student representatives, attended the activity.
At the beginning of the activity, Du Daolin introduced the significance of Arbor Day to the representatives of teachers and students. He emphasized that young students should be practitioners and promoters of ecological civilization construction, and should consciously root the green development concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" in their hearts, manifest it in their actions, and constantly temper their own will and quality. All the teachers and students should continue to do their best for the "greening and beautifying" of the motherland, and continue to work hard for the transformation and development of Jingjiang College.
Teachers and students worked together and cooperated with each other to plant seedlings, support seedlings, fill soil, and water, and every step was orderly, careful and serious. Every plum blossom sapling, every drop of sweat, and every shovel of soil add a touch of bright color to the campus in spring.
