On October 23rd, four representatives, including Academician Yowhan Son, dean of the Institute of Carbon Neutrality of Korea University, and Professor Jinho Jung, head of the Environmental Science and Engineering Research and Education Group and director of the Department of Environmental Science and Ecological Engineering of Korea University came to Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University for exchange and visit. Cui Jingui, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University, President Du Daolin, Vice President Fan Yanhua and relevant persons of charge of General Office received the guests and conducted negotiations and exchanges. The meeting was hosted by Fan Yanhua.
Du Daolin extended a warm welcome to Academician Yowhan Son and his delegation, and introduced the overview of Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University. He said that Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University is actively exploring new paths and new tracks for the characteristic development and high-quality development of high-level application-oriented undergraduate college, and hoped to take this cooperation and exchange meeting as an opportunity to further promote internationalization work, provide high-quality international education and teaching resources for teachers and students, and create a mutually beneficial and win-win situation.
Academician Yowhan Son and Professor Jinho Jung introduced relevant situation of South Korea respectively.
At the meeting, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.
After the meeting, Academician Yowhan Son delivered an academic report entitled “Forest Carbon Sequestration in Climate Change and Natual-based Solutions” for teachers and students of Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University in Room 5B306.
